According to the Audit Bureau of Circulation (India), it holds the title of the World’s Largest Selling Publication with a circulation of 1,81,87,168 copies.

Kalnirnay serves as a comprehensive guide for both solar and Vedic lunar events, presenting lunar dates alongside standard dates. The events are displayed in local languages.

At present, the Kalnirnay App is accessible in Marathi, Hindi, English, and Gujarati languages.

 <li>Next Year Events - Anticipated events in the upcoming year.</li>
 <li>Sankashti - Details of each month's Sankashti. In the Important Dates section, reminders can be set for each event.</li>
 </ul>
 <li>Reminders - A collection of user-set reminders for notes and events categorized into Past, Today, and Upcoming sections.</li>
 <li>Personal List - Displays personal notes organized by month. Users can add a single note per day using the "Set Reminder" button on this screen. A reminder can be set for a note by clicking 'Set Reminder'.</li>
 <li>Settings including:</li>
 <ul>
 <li>Reminder Settings - Allowing users to set reminders for various events and notes.</li>
 <li>Events to Remind - Categorizing event types like Purnima, Sankashti, Gurupushya which repeat throughout the year.</li>
 <li>Language Settings – Enabling users to select from four available languages: Marathi, Hindi, English, Gujarati.</li>
 <li>Location – Allowing users to customize Sunrise and Sunset timings by selecting their specific location. Timings displayed will always be in IST timezone on a particular date.</li>
 </ul>

Note: Third-party applications such as Clean Master or Anti-Virus Apps may impact the performance of the Kalnirnay app on certain phone models. Users need to verify/change settings of those specific applications to ensure proper functionality of the Kalnirnay app.
